Blivande is an experiment in stewarding and cultivating a self-sustaining ecosystem. Traditionally, art has been isolated from other avenues of work. There are many reasons for this, including that artists require access to rough spaces to build in, which is often seen as incompatible with other uses. However, much is gained by a space that allows for cross-pollination between people of different skills and professions. Sculptors and engineers. Plumbers and architects. Painters and lawyers. Performers and computer scientists. Welders and scenographers. We believe that such a place is possible, and we are building it.
Studio Tau is a community driven art & maker space dedicated to letting you craft your minds work. Our participatory co-working space Studio Beta is an office at the heart of a community. Comprised of highly passionate working individuals from a wealth of different backgrounds and cultures, Studio Beta offers everyone a place to call their home away from home. Frihamnstorget is our outdoor container-park. Frihamnstorget is a constantly evolving entity, a place for creative innovation and open to your initiative. Blivande is also an event space, for both all-night parties and inspiring conferences. With our shoes off policy, cosy sofas to relax on and our warm & inviting atmosphere, it is no wonder Blivande is well known within Stockholm for being one of the best spaces to host events.
